(NO MCI SCREENING TEST/FMGE)

On 24th March 2018 the Cabinet Ministry led by our PM, Shri Narendra Damodardas Modi. This team made some important changes in the National Medical Commission bill by the recommendation of standing committee. They decided that there will be one single exam for the students to get license to practice in India which is ‘National exit test’ NEXT. However the proposal is almost completed in the parliament to merge FMGE or MCI screening test with NEXT.

This means wherever you study (in India or Overseas) you have to give NEXT (National exit test) to get license for practicing in India.
