Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi state University is a Government state University which was established on February 8th, 1918 by the name of Tbilisi State University.It was changed to Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in 1989 which was named after its founder by Ivane Javakhishvili.The Tbilisi State University is one of the largest higher educational institutions by its scales. Today about 22,000 students are undergoing studies at seven faculties of TSU.
